The Blogger list for World Goth Fair 2013 has been finalized, and you can find it here: https://worldgothfair.wordpress.com/blogger-list/
The merchant list for World Goth Fair 2013 has been finalized. Thank you to everyone who applied, and if you didnt apply in time this year, please don’t hesitate to do it next year (just you know, sooner.)
If you want to see the list it’s here: https://worldgothfair.wordpress.com/merchant-list-2/, and as soon as we have a fair layout showing where, exactly, everyone is, we’ll post it.
Thank you so much again for all your support!
By midnight SLT (PT) tomorrow night (April 20) all World Goth Fair booth fees MUST be in. Any stores who are outstanding on booth fees will lose their slot to people waiting on the waiting list. Currently there are four booths outstanding, and six people on the waiting list for WGF, so if you want your store in there, get your booth fee in before time runs out!
Reminder- ALL BOOTH FEES MUST (must. must. must.) be paid to WorldGothDayOfficial Resident ONLY. If you send them to me, I won’t know you did it, and won’t be able to find it later. I can’t stress this enough- Send the fee to the charity account ONLY.
We’ll be finalizing the list over the weekend and offering any spaces we have to our patiently waiting folks on the list after tomorrow night.
A major step forward happened in the United Kingdom this week.
“A police force has begun recording attacks on members of subcultures, such as goths and emos, as hate crimes.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) is the first force in the UK to treat the offences in such a way.
Previously hate crimes were only registered for offences against race, religion, disability, sexual orientation or transgender identity.
GMP has worked with a charity set up following the murder of 20-year-old goth Sophie Lancaster in 2007.”

…no, this is not an April Fool’s post.
The last slot just went. All 75 are gone. What this means is that all apps received past this point will be put on a waiting list and we will be assigning any available slots on April 21. All currently held booths must be paid by April 20. On the 21st, any booth fees not paid will be freed and go to people on the waiting list, or any other merchant that wants to hop on.
So, if you already HAVE a booth slot, make sure your booth fee is in by April 20.
If you want to get in, fill in an app and put your store on the waiting list. We’ll let you know on the 21st.
Other than that, we’re now going to figure out who all is going on which sim so we can balance the prim load, and start working on the blogger list.
Also, yay. 🙂
Thanks everyone! 😀
As for the rest, people are still slowly getting their booth fees in. As a reminder, merchants have until April 20. That’s it. If they aren’t in by then, there’s no extension, because we have to start laying out the physical fair site at that time, and we must assign the booths not currently assigned to a sim to one so we can balance the prim load. The faster your booth payment comes in, the faster your store name appears on the merchant list page.
Maybe that last slot will go today!
